Victorien Disse began his study of music with the guitar, exploring several styles: Flamenco in the class of Claude Worms, bossa nova under Renato Velasco and classical guitar with Alain Rizoul. He then moved on to jazz, entering the American School of Modern Music, from which he graduated.

Later he embarked on Baroque music with Miguel Ysrael, entering Benjamin Perrot’s class in theorbo and Baroque guitar at the Versailles Conservatory.

 

He participates in the Jeudi Musicaux at Baroque Music Center in Versailles and in various performances at the Paris Conservatories and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris.

He performs regularly in Europe, in chamber music, orchestras and several ensembles, such as Les Cris de Paris, Faenza, Les Siècles, El Sol, Le Baroque Nomade. In 2015, he founded the Mitis Ensemble with harpist Caroline Lieby.
