Tenor Guillaume Gutierrez joined the Jeune Chœur de Paris under the direction of Laurence Equilbey, graduating in 2008.
Very attracted to the madrigal, he sang for five years with the Perspectives ensemble. For several years now, he has been singing with La Main Harmonique.
Appreciated at the opera for his voice, his diction and his ability to lend meaning to each role, Guillaume has played Nemorino, Platée, and Bastien. He has performed Monsieur Argant in Philidor’s Le soldat magicien, Vergy in Grétry’s Raoul Barbe Bleue, and Blondel in Grétry’s Richard Coeur de Lion at the Reims Opera with Les Monts du Reuil. With this same Company, he will interpret Melktal in Grétry’s Guillaume Tell in March 2020.
With the Pygmalion ensemble, Guillaume has performed a Parque in Rossi’s L'Orfeo and a Songe in Rameau’s Dardanus. In 2020, he will be Mercury in Rameau’s Hippolyte and Aricie at the Opéra Comique.
